Understanding Chemicals of Concern in the Furniture & Furnishings Industry

This project is run by the Australasian Furnishing Association (AFA) with support from the Australian Government and GECA (Good Environmental Choice Australia).
Please register here to show interest in undertaking an interview with a member of the Chemicals of Concern Project Team. The questions will aim to gauge your level of awareness about the uses of chemicals of concern in either your business, or industry at large. It will also explore the relevant policies/strategies you have in place to manage chemicals, and to develop an understanding of which governing standards industry you see as authoritative/impactful. Finally, the interviews will also draw out the main gaps, obstacles and opportunities to transitioning away from chemicals of concern.
Each interview will take between 30 minutes to an hour. All interviews will be recorded and transcribed, and participants will be able to review their answers after the interview process. More information around the interview process will be sent through upon registration.
